The Beauty Industry Council of the Florida Retail Federation represents all sectors of the cosmetology industry, including schools, salons, manufacturers and distributors. The purpose of the Council is to advocate for and advance the interests of the beauty industry. Members of the Council receive experienced representation and effective intervention in front of the legislature and regulatory agencies. The Council also provides convenient and cost-saving services to members of the beauty industry, such as continuing education for current and soon-to-be licensed professionals. Industry Continuing Education Courses

The Beauty Industry Council is an approved provider of the following education courses:

These courses are free to BIC members, and also available to non-BIC members at the prices listed on this page. BIC members will need a code in order to access the free courses. Member schools and salons can request the number of codes you need for students or licensed cosmetology employees by clicking this link, completing the form and submitting it. We will then process your request and send you the codes you’ve requested. Those codes can then be distributed to students and employees so they may take their free course.
