Florida Administrative Weekly

Friday's Florida Administrative Weekly includes several items relating to pharmacy. 

Under Proposed Rules,

• The Agency for Health Care Administration
• Proposes a rule amendment to 59G-4.250 (Prescribed Drug Services) to incorporate by reference the Florida Medicaid Prescribed Drug Services coverage, Limitations and Reimbursement Handbook, updated January 2012. The handbook updates the procedures for reimbursement of providers for prescribed drugs

• Proposes a rule (59G-4.251, Florida Medicaid Prescribed Drugs Reimbursement Methodology) to state the reimbursement methodology for prescribed drug claims in the Florida Medicaid program.
• The Department of Health Board of Osteopathic Medicine has proposed rule amendments to 64B15-14.0051 (Training Requirements for Physicians Practicing in Pain Management Clinics) to delete all language except for the training requirements.
